Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory
Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory posses Accreditation Certificate No. AB 295 issued by Polish Centre for Accreditation and certificate No 20/MON/2011 issued by Ministry of National Defence.
Thanks to refinancing from European Regional Development Fund Research & Development Marine Technology Centre bought a reverberation chamber which can be used to conduct investigation: measurement of emission of electromagnetic interference, testing the resistance to electromagnetic in range of frequency to 18 GHz, measurement of electromagnetic field attenuation of shielding objects in accordance with methods specified in: PN-EN 61000-4-21:2004 and MIL STD 461E (NO-06-A200, NO-06-A500, PN-V 90008 i RTCA/DO-160E).
Scope of accreditation for PCA and OiB includes:
- Electromagnetic compatibility testing compliance with European Directive EMC 2004/108/EC.
- Electromagnetic compatibility testing compliance with Polish Defense Standards.
- Testing into attenuation of electromagnetic fields for stationary and mobile shielding.
- Testing electric and electronic equipments compliance with European Directive LVD 2006/95/EC (low-voltage LVD).
- Evaluating exposition of workers to electromagnetic fields. Climate-focused tests.
- Distribution of electrochemical potential in metal structures measurements in electrolytic environment.
