Laboratory of Vibration-acoustics, Shock Resistance and Magnetic Fields
Laboratory of Vibroacoustics, Shock Resistance and Magnetic Fields - RFL. Accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation - Certificate No AB 296 and Ministry of National Defence - certificate No 21/MON/2011.
Scope of accreditation for PCA and OiB
- Testing of resistance, strength and total resistance to sinusoidal vibration.
- Testing of machine resistance to single mechanical shock.
- Testing of machine resistance to repeated mechanical shocks.
- Testing to resonance frequency occurrence in mechanical construction.
- Measurements of magnetic field of mechanisms and technical devices.
Scope of non-accredited testing and measurement services includes:
- vibration characteristics;
- resistance against random vibrations;
- acoustic noise level (in the anechoic chamber);
- hydrostatic strength;
- material magnetic properties;
- arrangement of the shipboard equipment with relation to location of magnetic compasses;
